Dodge Dart (1967–1975)

Dodge Dart: 1967–1975 | The "Baby Dodge" Muscle Car & Youth Icon

Introduced in 1967 and stretching nearly 17 feet in length, the Dodge Dart was affectionately dubbed the "Baby Dodge" by the motoring press—a testament to the massive scale of 1960s American iron. While the Dart body style proved incredibly resilient, surviving until 1975, it is the early high-performance versions that remain the most coveted today.

From the high-winding Dart GTS 340 to the big-block 383 V8 Super Bees, the Dart proved that compact dimensions didn't mean sacrificing Mopar muscle. Interestingly, the Dart's influence reached far beyond US borders, with Chrysler Australia selling the body style locally as the VF and VG Valiant hardtops from 1969 to 1971.

Tunnel Ram has curated a premier gallery of vintage Dodge Dart advertisements spanning 1967 to 1975. Browse these high-resolution scans of original magazine marketing that perfectly capture the muscle car spirit and the "youth vibes" of the era. »»
