Cadillac - Standard of the World. America's best selling luxury car - models include the Fleetwood, Sedan de Ville, Coupe de Ville, Calais, Series 60, 62 and 75, Seville, and Fleetwood Brougham. Engines range from the 331 cubic inch V8 introduced in 1949, later enlarged to 348 then 390 cubes, replaced in 1964 with the superb 429 V8 that was upped to 472, then 500 cubic inches (8.2ltr) by the early '70s.
