The mighty Mini - one of the most influential car designs ever made. Or quite possibly the most influential design - all front-wheel-drive cars that followed owe something to the Mini - brainchild of the great Sir Alec Issigonis. This gallery is a generic one incorporating various minis even if originally sold under a different nameplate - such as the Austin 7 Countryman - a Mini wagon in essence. Later Mini’s were sold under the BL (British Leyland) tag. Whatever nameplate it has worn - the Mini was and remains one of the all time great cars.
